    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>WTMJ Part-Time Radio Producer</strong></p><p><strong>(Milwaukee, WI)</strong></p><p>620 WTMJ and Good Karma Brands is looking for a part-time producer &ndash; someone with experience in radio or podcasting, a great sense of creating compelling content, and high IQ when it comes to the local Milwaukee community. Top candidates for this role will demonstrate curiosity, solid production skills, creative production, and a confident voice for on-air contributions. The ideal candidate is a team-first hard-worker with skill and ability in running a board, the capacity to think on your feet, and the aptitude for problem-solving and working in a deadline-oriented environment.&nbsp;</p><p>Newsradio 620 WTMJ, has been Wisconsin&rsquo;s Radio Station since it&rsquo;s inception in 1927. Along with a diverse lineup of local shows discussing the news of the day, politics, as well as social issues &ndash; WTMJ is the trusted station of relevance when it comes to not only top headlines around the state and the country, but also any breaking news that can strike at any moment.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Role of a Part-Time Producer:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The primary role of a Producer will work with host(s) on content plan and execution, support the program director/operations manager on show production and log fulfillment, collaborate with other show producers on the sharing of news, ideas, and audio, work in conjunction with marketing/promotions on contesting and sponsorships, and assist engineers on ensuring the station is operating within FCC guidelines and is on-the-air.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Daily Responsibilities Include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Work with on-air hosts to develop daily content plans and social media strategy</li><li>Sourcing potential contributors and interviewees</li><li>Social media proficiency in posting about the show, including stories, interviews, &amp; podcasts</li><li>Converting text, graphics, video, and audio files for all digital platforms</li><li>Create daily audio and video content</li><li>Contribute to, and make use of, archived audio files and sources for content segments</li><li>Responding to audience feedback, and referring on to other departments as necessary</li><li>Aptitude in editing software such as Adobe Audition &amp; Adobe Premier for production purposes</li><li>Be a Good Karma Brands ambassador by adhering to the GKB core values: Listen, Be Honest, Follow Through, Work Hard, Teamwork, &amp; Over Deliver</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience producing news/talk programming, experience in a newsroom, or experience working in television news</li><li>A passion for local news and covering impactful stories</li><li>Desire to be part of a team and working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Personal sense of responsibility &amp; accountability</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Willingness to accept &amp; provide feedback</li></ul><p><strong>Hours/Salary/Benefits:</strong></p><p>Good Karma Brands part-time teammates are paid hourly with opportunity for increased pay with increased skills and responsibilities.
