    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div>The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc, a respected non-profit provider of residential, recreation, and day services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is seeking a Program Assistant. <strong>This position is located at our SPINAWEB specialty weaving shop nestled in the quaint craft community of Occoquan, Virginia. SPINAWEB is part of The Arc&#39;s adult vocational program and is a living symbol of the dignity and worth that citizens with developmental disabilities bring to our nation.</strong> <strong><u>The position is full-time, 30 hours/week regular work schedule Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm. Additional coverage when needed and some weekend coverage for special events (one or two times per year).</u> Hourly rate starting at $17.00 per hour and we offer EXCELLENT benefits including zero out of pocket cost for medical insurance for full-time employees!&nbsp;</strong><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Duties:&nbsp;</strong>Under the direction of the Spinaweb Program Coordinator, the Program Assistant will participate in the daily operations of Spinaweb. &nbsp;This will include but not be limited to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Opening and closing the building as needed</li><li>Assisting the Weavers in their Daily Schedule</li><li>Administer Medication when necessary</li><li>Supervise the Individuals in the Program</li><li>Accompany Individuals on Community activities</li><li>Set up looms and assist in the weaving projects</li><li>Train Weavers on new skills</li><li>Assist with quality control on all projects</li><li>Complete Daily Log reports and documentation of any incidents</li><li>Log in production hours for Individuals as requested</li><li>Log attendance hours for Individuals as requested</li><li>Provide input for Individual&rsquo;s Program goals</li><li>Assist Customers in the &ldquo;shop&rdquo;</li><li>Complete order forms and process sales in the Retail shop</li><li>Make recommendations for weaving projects and community activities &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Attend all training as required</li><li>Provide a Safe and clean environment</li><li>Assist in keeping the building clean</li><li>Provide Staff hours as needed</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.45.22/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.41.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div><div><div><div><strong><u>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for Direct Support/Care Professionals:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Written, communication and computer skills required. Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA and Van Training. Criminal and Child Protective Services Background investigations conducted for all employees; must meet state of Virginia employment eligibility requirements. A valid Virginia Driver/s license, a licensed U.S. driver with a minimum if THREEE (3) years driving experience in the United States.
