To achieve this, we are looking for<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Statcom Expert &amp; Project Managers </span>to be responsible for delivering expertise in all aspects of HVDC projects (with a focus on converter stations).</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">With your extensive experience in HV Reactive Power Compensation System technology and proven track record in project management, you will take responsibility for the preparation, planning and implementation of EGI Statcom projects. Your responsibilities will include the quality, budget, schedule and reporting of your project and/or sub-project. In addition to your specialist experience, you must also be an efficient organizer, assertive, a capable communicator and a team player.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Typical activities involve (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">but are not limited to</span>):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Defining plant-specific requirements for the Statcom system especially defining single line diagrams and Statcom layouts included in client substations;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Editing technical guidelines for Statcom components and equipment and their interface connection;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Supervision and quality checks during the Statcom plant and its auxiliary system installation process;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Controlling the entire technical implementation process from developing concepts, and drafting tender documents to award contracts and accepting delivery from customers and contracting parties;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ensuring that technical customer requirements are implemented and compliance with the relevant guidelines and regulations in accordance with all safety regulations;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Drawing up comparisons of technical and economic alternatives and doing preparatory work for cost-intensive investment decisions;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Actively collaborating with project managers, drawing up reports, budget forecasts and schedules, attending construction meetings, placing orders under framework agreements;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Quality control by taking part in factory acceptance tests and on-site operational tests Statcom plant primary equipment;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Approval and checking of Statcom equipment and plant documentation;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Determine basic requirements for Statcom components and equipment, transformer and busbar control and protection equipment and Statcom auxiliary power supply concepts.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">Your profile</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Master's degree in electrical engineering;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">5+ years of relevant experience with Statcom, Reactive Power Compensation systems (SVC, MSCDN, etc…) and primary and secondary equipment for HV substations (up to 400kV);</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experiences (basics) in electrical network calculation, insulation coordination and Statcom design studies;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge in HV/MV transformer and cable design, control cables and optical fibre cables;</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of modelling languages, data analytics and simulation software widely used in the energy industry (PowerFactory, PSSE, Matlab, etc);</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Great knowledge and experience in the use of ITWO, SAP and MS Office;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Fluent in English and German;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of French and/or another language is a strong asset.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900; font-size: 18px\">What we offer</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Permanent contract or freelance position;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Attractive salary package and an extensive array of fringe benefits;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Exciting, professional and international environment in a fast-growing company;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Unique training, personal development and growth opportunities;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>At EGI, we value diversity and inclusion.
