Seeks Safety Advisors all across the Southeast region.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the health and safety of the workers, but also of the jobsite, environment and general public.</li>\n <li>Inspect the jobsites and identify potential hazards, assess the risks and report potential hazards and take appropriate action.</li>\n <li>Investigate incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and coaching to field employees.</li>\n <li>Effectively communicate and collaborate with manager to ensure safety strategies and programs align with corporate expectations and policies.</li>\n <li>Assist in the response and correction of significant safety events, such as serious injury or illness, fatalities, regulatory action, etc.</li>\n <li>Proactively recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees </li>\n <li>Collect and validate safety records and complete safety audits.</li>\n <li>Administer drug testing.</li>\n <li>Administer basic First Aid.</li>\n <li>Lead safety meetings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess specified certifications, including, but not limited to OSHA 30.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate knowledge of safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain and practice workplace safety programs, procedures and policies.</li>\n <li>Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with all levels within the organization.</li>\n <li>Able to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Strategize with safety team to support and drive a culture that embraces safety, recognizes hazards and takes action to minimize risk.</li>\n <li>Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cloud based technical programs such as O365 Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 1 year experience in Industrial Construction and; in combination with at least 1 years experience in a Safety assignment</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 </li>\n <li>Forklift Trainer</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.</li>\n <li>Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.</li>\n <li>Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.</li>\n <li>Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.</li>\n <li>Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.</li>\n <li>Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.</li>\n <li>The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.</li>\n <li>Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#PPM</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
