Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Helps to care for children and infants, from six weeks to eight years, and provides for their physical, emotional, and educational needs, and in maintaining a safe, clean environment.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED </u></strong></p>\n<li>Six months of experience in a structured classroom setting.</li>\n<li>Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education or education related field <strong>OR</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>Child Development Associate (CDA) <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>Current enrollment in an early childhood certification program such as Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or education related field, <strong>AND</strong> completion of CDA, TCC, or degree within two years of hire <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>Completion of a CDA within two years of hire</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid or must obtain within 90 days of hire.</li>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED </u></strong></p>\n<li>One year of experience in a structured classroom setting. </li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of child development/management techniques, appropriate activities for children and related care regulations. Must be willing to obtain additional training on a regular basis. </li>\n<li>Must be energetic, and an interest in and enjoyment of children.</li>\n<li>Must possess good written and oral communication skills.</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>7a - 7p\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>No\n<h2>On-Call Requirements:</h2>No",
