    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>D</strong>epartment: Orlando Health Ambulatory - Outpatient Rehab</p>\n<p>Status: Full-Time | 40 hours per week</p>\n<p>Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm</p>\n<p>Title: Occupational Therapist</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>***Address of Practice: 3010 E. 138th Suite 1 Tampa, FL 33613***</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Seeking a CHT Occupational Therapist*</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Position Summary</p>\n<p>Treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>All Inclusive Benefits (start day one)</p>\n<p>Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, Student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, FREE college education programs, retirement savings, paid paternity leave, fertility benefits, back up elder and childcare, pet insurance, PTO/Holidays, and more for full time and part time employees.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong> • Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons and data sources. • Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives. • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to treat and provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload. • Demonstrates the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as delineated in the departmental policies and procedures. • Demonstrates competency in the use, care and maintenance of profession specific equipment, observing safety precautions and providing verbal explanations of the equipment and its purpose. • Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plan and goals when appropriate, and prepares written documentation as required by the department, and the care team. • Recognizes and communicates when the patient has received optimal benefit from therapy. • Ensures complete documentation and accurate billing. • Adheres to State Practice Act and Standards of Practice. • Provides patient/family education as indicated. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training</strong> Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in occupational therapy.</p>\n<p> <strong>Licensure/Certification</strong> • Maintains current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida-temporary permit acceptable. • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.</p>",
