We are looking for reliable individuals to ensure compliance with parking policies while providing exceptional customer service. </p>\n<h3>What You’ll Do:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Compliance & Enforcement:</strong> Monitor designated streets, lots, and garages to ensure parking policies are followed. Issue citations or warnings using handheld computers and coordinate vehicle impounds or relocations as directed.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Serve as a resource for the community by providing directions and information regarding events, building locations, and parking regulations.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Facility Maintenance:</strong> Assist with upkeep tasks including inspecting lots, painting, cleaning, repairing meters, and installing signage.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Revenue Security:</strong> Assist in the collection and security of parking revenues from meters and automated pay stations.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Event Support:</strong> Support traffic control and payment collection during special events and peak seasons.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>* Please note that Enforcement Officers are not sworn police officers and have no arresting authority.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Job Requirements:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Age Requirement:</strong> Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>License Requirement:</strong> Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record (required for operating company vehicles or bicycles).</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, bicycle, and use a computerized handheld device for enforcement.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p><strong>Judgment:</strong> Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and apply parking regulations accurately.</p></li>\n   <li><p><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Ability to interact with the public in a courteous, tactful, and diplomatic manner.</p></li>\n   <li><p><strong>Local Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with the geography of the assigned area and knowledge of safety hazards/precautions.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Availability:</strong> Flexible schedule required. Special shift requirements may vary by location, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Physical Demands & Work Environment:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Physical:</strong> Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods.
