    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>SAFY is seeking a <strong>full time Parent Partner</strong> for our <strong>Columbus</strong><strong>&nbsp;division in Ohio</strong><strong>.</strong><p>As a <strong>Parent Partner</strong> you mentor parents currently involved in the system. Parent Partners act as the &ldquo;parent&rsquo;s voice&rdquo; as participants on various committees and workgroups. Additionally, serves as a parent mentor to families currently involved with state and/or county family service agencies.</p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>At SAFY, our mission is Preserving Families &amp; Securing Futures. We are a team of 500 employees across seven states providing services such as Family Preservation &amp; Reunification, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption Services and Older Youth Services so the families and children we serve can build resilience and thrive. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Attend Team Decision Making (TDM) Meetings as a supportive voice for the&nbsp;families.</li><li>Advocate and support other parents by sharing their experiences in various systems and choices, and theknowledge that they gained from personal experiences and choices to reunify with their child(ren).</li><li>Implement the &ldquo;professional behavior elements&rdquo; such as the ability to work with people, ability to clearly communicate with people, maintain confidentiality and engage in respectful&nbsp;interaction.</li><li>Complete all paperwork, including but not limited to, leave requests, demands, mileage forms, and correspondence in an organized accurate and timely&nbsp;manner.</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude, sincerity, and a willingness to help others at all&nbsp;times.</li></ul><p><strong>Other</strong></p><ul><li>Attend court appearances and meetings (including TDMs) when requested to do so by the&nbsp;parent.</li><li>Attend all meetings, as requested, and serve as the parents&rsquo; voice on committees and&nbsp;workgroups.</li><li>Initiate contact in order to review pertinent family information and discuss cases with appropriate stake&nbsp;holders.</li><li>Actively meet with his/her assigned parent(s) as agreed upon in supervision. It is anticipated that generally the Mentor and Mentee will meet on an average of 8 hours per month, although more or less contact may be approved by Program&nbsp;Manager.</li><li>Assess the clients and determine the case needs. Serve as a knowledgeable source of community&nbsp;resources.</li><li>Document all contacts and interactions with their mentee on approved contact form.
