    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Seeking a hands-on manufacturing engineer to support operations in our busy roll forming production facility. Ideal candidates will be safety-minded and have experience with programming robots, robotic lead-controlled plasma cutters, tool path generation and design. Must also be strongly skilled with machine troubleshooting. Do you enjoy leading efforts in improving existing processes or working on developing processes for new products? Apply now!</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide hands-on process engineering support on the production floor a minimum 50% of time. You will also estimate costs, develop, improve and implement manufacturing processes required in the manufacture of all products. We&rsquo;ll ask you to improve the efficiencies of individual operations and the facility as a whole. You will also assist tryout and development of associated new tooling projects and develop sustainable, repeatable processes that produce at maximum rates with minimum scrap.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong>include the following.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Others as assigned.&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Use engineering principles to provide production operations support with hands on troubleshooting and development.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead process optimization for facility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act as a technical resource for machine capabilities and product limitations on new parts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Improve process control and product quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maximize operational effectiveness, i.e. bottleneck analysis, set-up time reduction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review tooling, machine, and product drawings with use of 3D CAD software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues for production and product launches.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist Quality Assurance in qualifying gauges and other measuring devices to be used in or on production processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Customer contact for process related concerns as needed (some travel required)&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>This overtime-exempt and will primarily work<strong>&nbsp;</strong>eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2 or more years&rsquo; related experience in manufacturing with quality environments of ISO, NADCAP, IATF or AS9100 &ndash; circle applicable</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Worked with customer specifications and translate that to process/machine needs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Worked with vendors on equipment selection, installation, startup</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop manufacturing processes and created training plans or work instructions, maintenance schedules for those</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lean manufacturing/process optimization</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>Preferred&nbsp;</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with Metals / metal forming processes including roll forming, tube bending, heat treat, CNC Machining or similar</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic Electrical Controls or Automation experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">IATF (automotive quality system) experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working with contractors and vendors for major equipment installations or plant expansions</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION &amp; CERTIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience and training.
