    "description": "<p>Imagine your future at Conavi!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Join our team in the design, manufacture, and sale of an innovative intravascular imaging system to improve cardiac care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Conavi Medical’s Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of a patient’s coronary arteries using both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technologies.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you would like to be a part of a talented team that is making a difference in healthcare, we currently have a new opening<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span>for a Junior R&amp;D Engineer to contribute to the development or enhancement of new and current medical devices (hardware) from design to the transfer to manufacturing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this position, you will:  </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Contribute to the design of medical devices or their components (new or modifications to existing) focused on hardware</span></li>\n<li><span>Create or modify device or component prototypes for design testing</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct bench-level testing to ensure device or component requirements are achieved </span></li>\n<li><span>Prepare written reports on the implemented design and testing</span></li>\n<li><span>Contribute to preparing the engineering documentation including drawing packages and the Bill of Materials (BOM) that facilitates the effective transfer of the design for manufacturing (DFM) </span></li>\n<li><span>Report progress updates on R&amp;D project plans </span></li>\n<li><span>Adherence to regulatory requirements associated with medical device design and manufacture </span></li>\n<li>Participate and adhere to health &amp; safety initiatives and requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You possess the following qualifications:</p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s or above engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, biomedical, mechatronics) </li>\n<li><span>Theoretical knowledge of standard technical documentation practices such as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and relevant development software for the incumbent’s function (Mechanical-3D CAD e.g. Solidworks; Electrical-numerical computing e.g. MATLAB)</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated abilities in technical problem resolution </span></li>\n<li><span>An attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span>Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills</span></li>\n<li>Capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Conavi Medical values everyone and their contributions.  We value diversity and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.  Please let us know if you require accommodations on any of the grounds protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code during the recruitment process.  </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Please submit a resume directly to Conavi Medical through the Careers section of our website at <a href=\"http://www.conavi.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.conavi.com</a>.  We thank all candidates for their interest but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>",
