    "requisitionDescription": "<div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">BP&amp;L Services LLC is seeking a skilled and safety‑focused <strong>Journeyman Electrician</strong> to support electrical construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities across industrial, oilfield, and commercial projects in the Permian Basin. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a crew to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards, company procedures, and customer specifications.</div><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including <strong>power distribution, lighting, grounding, conduit, cable trays, cable and control wiring</strong></li><li>Read and interpret <strong>blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and one‑line diagrams</strong></li><li>Perform electrical work on <strong>industrial facilities, oilfield locations, pump stations, MCCs, VFDs, panels, and instrumentation</strong></li><li><strong>Evaluate job scope requirements, including estimating manpower needs, crew size, labor hours, and preparing material take‑offs and equipment lists for assigned projects</strong></li><li>Assist in <strong>job planning and pre‑task preparation</strong> by identifying tools, materials, and personnel required to safely and efficiently complete work</li><li>Ensure all work complies with <strong>National Electrical Code (NEC)</strong>, local codes, and BP&amp;L safety standards</li><li>Safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and measuring devices (multimeters, megger, etc.)</li><li>Diagnose electrical issues and determine corrective actions efficiently to minimize downtime</li><li>Install and terminate conductors, raceways, panels, and electrical devices</li><li>Assist with equipment startups, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities</li><li>Follow <strong>Job Safety Analysis (JSA)</strong>, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and permit requirements</li><li>Maintain accurate daily work documentation, material usage, and job progress reporting</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, inspectors, clients, and other trades</li><li>Mentor apprentices and junior electricians when assigned</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times</li></ul><p><br></p><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Minimum <strong>3-5</strong><strong>&nbsp;years of hands‑on electrical experience</strong> in industrial and/or oilfield environments</li><li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>NEC codes</strong>, electrical best practices, and safety regulations</li><li>Experience working in <strong>hazardous environments</strong> (classified areas preferred)</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Oil &amp; gas or Permian Basin field experience</li><li data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Valid Journeyman Electrician License</strong> (Texas or reciprocal state)</li><li>Experience with <strong>MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and control systems</strong></li><li>TWIC card or ability to obtain one</li><li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Physical &amp; Work Environment Requirements</strong></h2><ul><li>Ability to work outdoors in <strong>extreme West Texas weather conditions</strong></li><li>Ability to lift up to <strong>50 lbs</strong>, climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces</li><li>Willingness to work <strong>overtime, weekends, and travel to remote job sites</strong> as required</li></ul><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><h2><strong>Benefits &amp; Compensation</strong></h2><p>BP&amp;L Services LLC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support the health, financial well‑being, and work‑life balance of our employees, including:</p><ul><li><strong>401(k) retirement plan</strong></li><li><strong>Health Insurance</strong> (medical coverage)</li><li><strong>Dental Insurance</strong></li><li><strong>Vision Insurance</strong></li><li><strong>Life Insurance</strong></li><li><strong>Paid Time Off (PTO)</strong> including vacation and holidays</li><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications</li><li>Overtime opportunities</li><li>Training and professional development opportunities</li><li>Stable work within the Permian Basin</li><li>Safety‑focused work environment</li></ul><p><em>Additional benefits may be available based on position, tenure, and project requirements.</em></p></div></div></div>\n",
