We’d love for you to join our team!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p><br></p><p>B&amp;A is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 Enhanced Domain Awareness program. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications and Kubernetes infrastructure in cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes administration, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies to support scalable and secure enterprise environments.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based containerized application environments&nbsp;</li><li>Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters in cloud-native infrastructures&nbsp;</li><li>Support container networking, orchestration, and cluster scalability&nbsp;</li><li>Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts&nbsp;</li><li>Automate CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and system integration&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and maintain Kubernetes platform health, performance, and availability&nbsp;</li><li>Implement Kubernetes security best practices and access controls&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot containerized applications, cluster performance, and networking issues&nbsp;</li><li>Implement and support service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd&nbsp;</li><li>Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform or Ansible&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with development, cloud, and DevOps teams to optimize deployments and operations</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cloud Computing, or related field required<br>OR&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent professional experience in Kubernetes administration&nbsp;</li><li>Experience designing and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments&nbsp;</li><li>Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized infrastructures&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps methodologies preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong Kubernetes administration and orchestration experience&nbsp;</li><li>Experience deploying and managing containerized applications&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of container networking and Kubernetes cluster management&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Helm chart deployment and package management&nbsp;</li><li>Experience automating CI/CD pipelines&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services including AWS, Azure, or GCP&nbsp;</li><li>Experience implementing Kubernetes security best practices&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack&nbsp;</li><li>Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd&nbsp;</li><li>Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform or Ansible&nbsp;</li><li>Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills</li></ul><p><strong>Security Clearance</strong></p><ul><li>No security clearance required&nbsp;</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship</li></ul><p><strong>More About B&amp;A:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em><strong>Notable Clients</strong></em></p><p><br>B&amp;A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
