The Senior AME works to develops, implements, and improves manufacturing strategies by utilizing their knowledge of product design, materials, tooling and equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. They create plans that optimize work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow. The Senior AME uses product requirements to create specifications and options for tooling and equipment and then works with vendors to procure, install and implement into the manufacturing facility.     "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>• Provide direct input to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) by doing the following:&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Provide manufacturing feasibility assessments for product design, engineering changes, scope changes and quality concerns.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Develop process flow and plant layout requirements.</p>\n<p>• Review product gaging and packaging strategies and assess the impact of those assumptions on the overall manufacturing strategy.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Define capital equipment and tooling required and maintain adherence to the budget of the program.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Project manage the procurement and acceptance of required equipment &amp; tooling.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Facilitate the implementation of production equipment/tooling into the manufacturing facility and any corresponding technical training.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Complete Process FMEA and manage RPN risks.</p>\n<p><i>Additional Responsibilities:</i></p>\n<p>• Assess the product, process, equipment and tooling strategies for potential ergonomic concerns and manage action items to resolve.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Support customer part needs through pilot, testing, run-at-rate and internal process sign offs.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Create and support continuous improvement projects.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Specific Requirement:</strong></p>\n<p>Education: Bachelor's Level Degree in Science Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering Plastics or Engineering Technology required (BSME or BSMET or similar) *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions</p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>• 5+ years minimum of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, or similar</p>\n<p>•Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>• Experience in any of the following areas is a plus but not a necessity:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Vacuum forming (IMG, IMGL, &amp; IMGS) &gt;&gt;&gt; Preferred</li>\n <li>Press lamination &amp; automated edge fold</li>\n <li>Robotic laser scoring</li>\n <li>Robotic laser drilling</li>\n <li>Robotic glue application</li>\n <li>Robotic milling</li>\n <li>Robotic flaming</li>\n <li>Robotic drilling</li>\n <li>Camera vision inspection</li>\n <li>Vibration welding</li>\n</ul>\n<p>• Assess the product, process, equipment and tooling strategies for potential ergonomic concerns and manage action items to resolve.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Support customer part needs through pilot, testing, run-at-rate and internal process sign offs.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>• Create and support continuous improvement projects.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Common Requirements for All Employees:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Quality Systems: Understand, apply and meet all function related YF IOS requirements.</li>\n <li>Environmental, Health &amp; Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements.</li>\n <li>Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.</li>\n <li>Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements.</li>\n <li>Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.</li>\n <li>Must comply with all company policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).</li>\n</ul>",
