Cassidy, Inc. is a leader in electrical systems and power solutions, providing cutting-edge services to a wide range of industries. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Substation Journeyman to join our team. This position will focus on substation relay and apparatus testing, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the safe and effective operation of electrical power systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, an eye for detail, and a willingness to travel frequently for project work.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Install and maintain equipment</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Transformers, circuit breakers, switches, relays, and control systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Perform inspections and testing</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Diagnose faults using specialized tools and test equipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Repair and troubleshoot</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Identify electrical or mechanical issues and fix them efficiently</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Read and interpret technical documents</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Ensure safety compliance</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Follow OSHA and company safety procedures when working with high-voltage systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Operate heavy equipment</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bucket trucks, cranes, and other machinery for installation and repair</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Assist in construction projects</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Build new substations or upgrade existing ones</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive travel is required, with some trips lasting several weeks. Travel schedules are planned in advance, with periods of high travel demand expected</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 2 years of experience in testing and commissioning electrical power systems and controls.
