Don't worry, you can still find yourself in the game!</p>\n<h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Strategic leader responsible for strengthening the USTA’s impact leveraging key partnerships to expand play opportunities through strategic partnering.  Serving as a thought-partner to both the USTA National office and the USTA Regional offices, this role blends business consulting expertise, working knowledge of public-private partnerships, experience partnering with public and private organizations on collaborative efforts, and actively support the development of legal vehicles with public park agencies and other owner operators to expand opportunities for play throughout the nation.</p>\n<p>In partnership with the Managing Director of National Infrastructure Strategy and the Senior Director of Key Partnerships and Advisory Projects, the new Director will design, advise, and serve as a forward-facing leader in optimizing the potential of formally partnering with public and private organizations where the USTA can add either expertise, capital support, or brand-association to expand opportunities for impact.  This is a high-visibility role that requires confidence, exceptional relationship management, strategic thinking, and an ability to translate vision into operational execution.</p>\n<p>As a member of the Section Partnerships Team, the Director will have a primary orientation in identifying key partner needs and goals, and managing the detailed execution of cooperative agreements. The Director will align partnering opportunities with national and regional staff and resources to increase tennis infrastructure.</p>\n<h3> </h3>\n<h3><strong>Partnering Strategy: Planning, Design, and Implementation.</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a primary strategic advisor to National and Section leaders on emerging infrastructural partnering strategy.</li>\n <li>Support the alignment of partnering opportunities with both new, proposed, and special USTA programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Project manage project partnership efforts between USTA and key national allied organizations, as directed.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>New Instruments for Durable Partnering</strong> </h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Co-develop new and refine existing approaches for partnership grants to meet emerging partnering opportunities. (Block Grant, Formula Grant, etc.) </li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Internal Advisory</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate within the core business unit and across national shared services groups to add value to allied indirect initiatives.</li>\n <li>Research and stay abreast of connections and trends between tennis, wellness, public parks, private health clubs, and private land developers, with the goal of identifying shared opportunities in key markets.</li>\n <li>Work closely with the USTA marketing and communications teams to highlight compelling stories that can expand awareness and impact.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Collaboration & Public Presence</strong> </h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop strong working relationships with various national and regional USTA teams. </li>\n <li>Develop strong working relationships with external partners, including expectation alignment and the development of mutually beneficial agreements.</li>\n <li>present the USTA in national forums, events, and industry associations.Develop and deliver presentations for USTA meetings, online webinar training, and any external client meetings.</li>\n <li>Manage Public Park Ambassador, Partner and Court Developers.</li>\n <li>Cultivate and manage content for Premier Facility meetings and summit.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Who You Are</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>8–10 years of experience building mutually beneficial partnerships.</li>\n <li>Strong consulting skillset, including facilitation, identifying shared value, strategy development, and cross-organizational advising.</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of public agency processes. </li>\n <li>Deep understanding of land development-related processes.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience managing complex projects within a capital delivery environment. </li>\n <li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.</li>\n <li>A collaborator with a growth-oriented mindset and an ability to build trust quickly. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working for a mission-based organization. </li>\n <li>Experience supporting the development of legal agreements. </li>\n <li>Experience working directly with governmental entities, national membership organizations, and private land developers.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with public-private partnerships, policy development, and legal tools.</li>\n <li>Passion for health and wellness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is designated as \"hybrid/flex\" in Orlando FL. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.
