    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <strong><u>&nbsp;DIETICIAN - FLEXSTAFF</u></strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>\n</div>\n<p>1. Interviews patient and/or family for nutritional history.<br>\n 2. Obtains patient food preferences.<br>\n 3. Assesses patients and documents in patients’ medical record, according to<br>\n hospital policies and procedures.<br>\n 4. Recommends nutrition care plans to medical staff for review and consideration.<br>\n 5. Recommends therapeutic diet modifications and/or supplemental feedings to<br>\n physicians for patients.<br>\n 6. Ensures accuracy of diet order received by checking against physician’s order.<br>\n 7. Calculates nutrient content of tube feeding, TPN/PPN, and dietary intakes<br>\n (calorie counts) as ordered by physicians.<br>\n 8. Provides nutritional guidance and counseling to patients and their families.<br>\n Provides written material as needed and according to prescribed diet.<br>\n 9. Assists Chief Clinical Dietitian with changes to patient’s menu, including<br>\n patient food preferences, and development of standardized recipes.<br>\n 10. Assists in overseeing food service workers in proper food handing and<br>\n portion control.<br>\n 11. Reports any malfunctioning of equipment which may interfere with a safe and<br>\n smooth operation.<br>\n 12. Participates in performance improvement initiatives including data collection<br>\n and reporting on results.<br>\n 13. Performs related duties, as required.</p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>ADA Essential Functions</strong>\n</div>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p><strong>• Bachelor’s Degree in Food, Nutrition or Dietetics, required.</strong><br><strong>• Registered Dietitian (RD) within three (3) months of date of hire, required.</strong><br><strong>• Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, preferred.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>One year acute care experience preferred</strong></p>\n<div>\n &nbsp;&nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong>*Additional Salary Detail</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
