This senior-level role involves working with government and private clients to ensure projects adhere to contract documents, plans, and specifications.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently manage a team overseeing large-scale public infrastructure projects.</li>\n<li>Provide technical inspection and ensure construction compliance.</li>\n<li>Handle contract management, scheduling, and budgeting.</li>\n<li>Travel to work sites for meetings, inspections, and client advisories.</li>\n<li>Work primarily on-site in a Contra Costa County CA project office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience:\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum five years of experience in construction management of highways or major public works projects as an architect's, engineer's, or owner's representative.</li>\n<li>OR five years as a construction superintendent on infrastructure highway and major public works projects.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Education:\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an ABET-accredited school.</li>\n<li>OR a master's or doctorate degree in Engineering, Construction Management from an ABET-accredited program.</li>\n<li>Possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training certificate can substitute for the required education.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Certifications:\n<ul>\n<li>Current CA Professional Engineer license (preferred) or Engineer-in-Training.</li>\n<li>Valid Construction General Permit Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) and/or Developer (QSD) certification preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge and Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of: Construction materials and methods, building trades, safety codes, concrete and steel construction, soil compaction, and MEP systems.</li>\n<li>Ability to: Detect poor quality materials/workmanship, read and interpret plans, perform field tests, calculate material quantities, and prepare comprehensive reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of inspection experience in bridge, highway, and roadway projects.</li>\n<li>Experience with Federal Aid projects.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.</li>\n<li>Strong technical reading, writing, and reporting skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary &amp; Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>$90K-$130K annual salary based on experience.</li>\n<li>Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability).</li>\n<li>401(k) with company match.</li>\n<li>Nine paid holidays plus accrued vacation.</li>\n<li>Flexible work hours and location.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Keish Environmental is a small, woman-owned business specializing in construction/program management, stormwater, and environmental compliance services.
