Bill Young VA Medical Center, Bay Pines FL.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Purpose</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>To provide Clinical Dietetic Technician services onsite in support of the Department of Vetrans (VA), Bay Pines Vetrans Affairs Medical Center.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides professional and courteous customer service via telephone, email</li>\n <li>Printsm prepares, and reviews meal tickets for assigned area(s)</li>\n <li>Correctly interprets diet activity and patient information to ensure patients requests and preferences, and current therapeutic diet order.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>DTR Certification OR bachelor's degree / 24+ semester hours in a nutrition-related field required</li>\n <li>Hospital food service experience: tray assembly, delivery, and diet order processing</li>\n <li>Therapeutic diet knowledge: IDDSI, Renal, Diabetic, Cardiac, and Medical Nutrition Therapy</li>\n <li>Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs</li>\n <li>Rotating day and evening shifts, 7 days/week including federal holidays (Day: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM range; Evening: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM range)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Point of contact:</strong></p>\n<p>Kara Smiley</p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources is an equal opportunity employer.
