    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Production Planner</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Salary: $95,000-$125,000/yr </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan and determine the most efficient method of achieving program objectives within the framework of technical capabilities.</li>\n <li>Create manufacturing order schedule and purchase requisitions for assigned projects using MRP.</li>\n <li>Track and monitor purchased material for assigned projects.</li>\n <li>Identify critical parts and critical path assemblies to the scheduled delivery dates.</li>\n <li>Execute plan and control programs through manufacturing and test to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers. </li>\n <li>Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments. </li>\n <li>Perform complex expediting and record keeping functions with current information on the location and progress of manufactured parts and assemblies.</li>\n <li>Release kits to production floor with proper travelers, operation sheets and documentation.</li>\n <li>Host meetings on status of programs regarding schedule with PM, Production, Test, and Quality.</li>\n <li>Report and resolve any problems or difficulties impacting the on-time delivery of jobs.</li>\n <li>Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.</li>\n <li>Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports and status and location of materials.</li>\n <li>Move or transport material from one department to another.</li>\n <li>Expedite material to assure delivery and availability of material by due date.</li>\n <li>Follow processing internal work orders to assure that items and assemblies will be completed on schedule.</li>\n <li>Process ECN’s so that WIP is at current revisions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience of Master’s degree with 4 years prior relevant experience equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>6+ years’ experience in Planning or Production Control in an electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing facility required.</li>\n <li>RF experience required</li>\n <li>6+ years’ ERP/MRP experience</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of work schedules, bill of material and receiving reports</li>\n <li>Familiar with tools, equipment and nomenclature of parts and components used in electro-mechanical manufacturing</li>\n <li>Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
