In this role, you will focus on the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide <strong>hands-on technical leadership</strong>, driving key strategic decisions, <strong>roadmaps</strong>, and architectural developments for mixed-signal designs across global teams</li>\n <li>Collaborate with IC designers and system engineers to <strong>develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits</strong> for next-generation products</li>\n <li><strong>Recruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talent</strong>, fostering a high-performance culture</li>\n <li>Drive collaboration with support teams (CAD, technology, and digital) to <strong>enhance productivity </strong>across the organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive technical expertise in data converters, with hands-on IC <strong>tape-out and productization experience</strong></li>\n <li>Strong ability to <strong>translate high-level specifications into block-level design requirements</strong></li>\n <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proven experience providing <strong>customer-facing support</strong> throughout product development and release-to-production phases</li>\n <li>BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 13 years of experience, or MS + 11 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 8 years of experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range for Southern California of:  $143,600 to $222,985 Annually</p>\n<p>MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range for San Francisco Bay Area of:  $159,200 to $247,135 Annually</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer competitive benefits designed to support employee health, welfare, and retirement and some highlights are:  health care benefits, 401k savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and paid time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, and will not be discriminated against based on race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear is a global, NASDAQ-traded company (MXL) where the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
