    "description": "<h2> Overview </h2>\n<p>We are seeking a highly experienced <strong>Digital Project Manager</strong> to support complex retail energy system initiatives for a major utility in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This role leads cross‑functional, multi‑workstream technology projects that support retail energy operations and enterprise systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position <strong>prefers a hybrid work arrangement</strong>, with the ability to work <strong>onsite at the Tysons, VA location up to three (3) days per week</strong>. <strong>Remote candidates will be considered</strong> provided they are willing to <strong>travel approximately 20–25%</strong> as needed for project and stakeholder engagements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is results‑driven, highly organized, and experienced in leading large‑scale digital initiatives within a matrixed, regulated environment</p>\n<h2> Responsibilities </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex digital projects, from planning through implementation and close‑out</li>\n <li>Define scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in partnership with business and IT stakeholders</li>\n <li>Manage project execution, risks, dependencies, and governance using enterprise project management tools</li>\n <li>Provide clear, concise status reporting to stakeholders and leadership</li>\n <li>Coordinate vendors, contracts, and third‑party dependencies</li>\n <li>Oversee testing, deployment readiness, and post‑implementation reviews</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and corporate standards</li>\n <li>Build alignment across cross‑functional business and technical teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications </h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of IT project management experience delivering complex, multi‑workstream initiatives</li>\n <li>Proven experience supporting <strong>Retail Energy systems</strong>, including EDI, billing/CIS, pricing, supply & scheduling, sales/CRM, contracts, and regulatory operations</li>\n <li>Experience working in <strong>matrixed environments</strong> with multiple vendors and third‑party providers</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Project and common collaboration and reporting tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Project management certifications (PMP, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Experience in regulated utilities or energy markets</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>4 Reasons to Join The Squires Group, Inc.:</strong> </em><em>1.
