    "description": "<p>We are seeking a highly motivated, independent professional to join our DP (KL) Quality &amp; Risk Management APAC team. As part of the team, you will carry out the client onboarding checks for the region.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform independence and conflict checks for new and existing clients. This includes conducting thorough Know-Your-Client (KYC) checks to verify their identity and assess their risk level, including money laundering risk.</li>\n<li>Perform detailed investigations on high-risk customers, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) or those from high-risk jurisdictions.</li>\n<li>Evaluate complex customer profiles and transactions to identify potential AML risks.</li>\n<li>Mitigate and resolve issues identified during KYC and AML screening.</li>\n<li>Work closely with various APAC countries to address any client or engagement acceptance issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accountancy, Business or relevant discipline.</li>\n<li>Preferably with relevant experience in an international public accounting firm or bank.</li>\n<li>Keen interest in the international development of the risk management profession.</li>\n<li>Possess good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Forvia Mazars Asia Pacific Services Sdn Bhd (formely known as Mazars Asia Pacific Services Sdn Bhd)  is a Malaysia incorporated company and a member firm of Forvis Mazars, an international Advisory and Accountancy Group that operates as a single integrated partnership.
