Oversee excavation and underground utility activities at a high-profile operational facility while ensuring compliance with OSHA, client, and site-specific safety requirements.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee excavation and trenching activities onsite</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with excavation safety standards, permits, and safe work practices</li>\n <li>Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and field observations</li>\n <li>Monitor high-risk construction activities and contractor compliance</li>\n <li>Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning</li>\n <li>Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety documentation</li>\n <li>Work closely with project management, field supervision, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment</li>\n <li>Support additional overtime or extended coverage as project needs require</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong excavation and trenching safety experience required</li>\n <li>OSHA 3015 Excavation, Trenching, and Soil Mechanics training required</li>\n <li>OSHA 510 highly preferred</li>\n <li>Experience overseeing underground utility or civil construction activities preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to recognize and mitigate excavation-related hazards required</li>\n <li>Strong communication and field presence required</li>\n <li><p>Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
