The position requires strong leadership, coordination with stakeholders, and the ability to manage both field operations and engineering deliverables.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required)</li>\n<li>Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)</li>\n<li>Proven experience managing commercial construction projects</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of civil design, construction methods, and applicable codes and regulations</li>\n<li>Willingness to participate in field training with crew members to develop a strong understanding of company operations, workflows, and project scopes</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment</li>\n<li>Commercial construction experience required</li>\n<li>Ability to travel overnight up to 25%-30% of the work week, as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all phases of projects to meet schedule, budget, quality, and standards.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and technical support to field teams and project stakeholders</li>\n<li>Plan and manage production schedules; provide weekly directions and updates</li>\n<li>Coordinate jobsite activities, inspections, meetings, and material deliveries</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the superintendent on field operations and execution</li>\n<li>Track labor, materials, and performance against project estimates</li>\n<li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including engineering and design-related issues</li>\n<li>Manage client, supplier, engineer-of-record coordination, and stakeholder relationships</li>\n<li>Lead production, design review, and project handoff meetings</li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, engineering records, and action plans</li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring alignment with design intent and budget</li>\n<li>Assist in processing and reviewing timesheets, expenses, inspection reports, and financial documentation</li>\n<li>Issue purchase orders and coordinate procurement and logistics</li>\n<li>Gather field data for estimating, design adjustments, and project planning</li>\n<li>Recruit, onboard, and support employee training and development</li>\n<li>Track employee certifications and ensure compliance requirements are met</li>\n<li>Assist with performance evaluations of field personnel</li>\n<li>Ensure availability of tools, equipment, safety supplies, and materials</li>\n<li>Support SOP development and continuous process improvement</li>\n<li>Provide weekly and quarterly performance updates to leadership</li>\n<li>Oversee maintenance of building and grounds</li>\n<li>Assist with basic IT-related issues as needed</li>\n<li>Maintain adequate inventory of safety equipment, tectum panels, and other supplies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total annual compensation (base salary + performance-based bonus) commensurate with experience: $90,000 – $120,000</li>\n<li>Company vehicle and gas card after probationary period</li>\n<li>Cell phone or $45/month stipend toward personal cell phone</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BENEFITS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual health insurance eligibility after 60 days; voluntary dental, vision, life, and short-term disability available</li>\n<li>Basic Life and AD&amp;D insurance ($15,000) funded by SERD, with option to purchase additional coverage</li>\n<li>401(k) with up to 4% company match after 6 months</li>\n<li>Two weeks’ paid vacation (accrued at 1.54 days per pay period)</li>\n<li>Free gym membership equivalent to current YMCA membership cost</li>\n</ul>",
