North Alabama Medical Center serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>A&nbsp;Medical Assistant (MA)<strong>&nbsp;</strong>who excels in this role:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.</li><li>Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.</li><li>Documents patient care given.</li><li>Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Maintains examination areas.</li><li>Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we’re looking for&nbsp;</strong><br>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
