    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Primary Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ol></ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to operate X-ray unit to provide images and complex data for determining medical treatment/diagnosis.</li>\n<li>Verifies Physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.</li>\n<li>Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protcol (including IV placement).</li>\n<li>Utilize Radiology information system to manage patient workflow and facilitate care.</li>\n<li>Maintain a professional and clean environment for the X-ray and CT Departments at all times.</li>\n<li>Monitor RIS for all walk-in procedures; schedule procedures; and review insurance coverage</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>before a procedure is performed.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure customer service is provided in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Ensures all procedures in X-ray are interpreted in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Consult with supervisor or manager for problem solving and/or changes in procedures.</li>\n<li>Report incidents in a timely manner not exceeding 24 hours.</li>\n<li>Coordinate the daily cleaning, periodical preventive maintenance of the equipment in X-ray.</li>\n<li>Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating of X-ray protocols and procedures.</li>\n<li>Perform periodical evaluation of X-ray protocols and procedures, under the direction of the Radiologists, to determine quality assurance and/or additional projections requirements.</li>\n<li>Serve as a mentor and resource to train less experienced technologists.</li>\n<li>Maintain a safe working environment.</li>\n<li>Ensure the X-ray and CT Departments complies with all State and Federal regulations, as applicable to the areas of responsibility.</li>\n<li>Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate late add-on patients.</li>\n<li>Adhere to the Radiology and Clinic Policy and Procedures and the Code of Conduct.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.</li>\n</ul>\n<ol></ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Education, Experience, and Knowledge</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Registered Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"><br></span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Skills and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must demonstrate excellent customer service and satisfaction skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Effective coordination of multiple projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must be knowledgeable in all Radiology procedures and scheduling on Synapse RIS.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Uses analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must have excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and telephone etiquette.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Excellent computer skills – PC, MS office including data entry in RIS scheduling.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Be able to lift up to 50 lb.</span></li>\n</ul>",
