You will play a critical role in helping secure and launch exciting architectural and construction projects by combining technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills.</p>\n<p>This is more than just an estimating role — it’s an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while building a long-term career with a collaborative and forward-thinking company.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents</li>\n<li>Performing quantity take-offs and detailed cost analysis</li>\n<li>Developing scopes of work and preparing competitive bid proposals</li>\n<li>Preparing RFIs and communicating with clients and project stakeholders</li>\n<li>Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor pricing</li>\n<li>Analyzing labor, material, fabrication, and installation costs</li>\n<li>Building budgets, bid leveling sheets, and project estimates</li>\n<li>Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering ideas</li>\n<li>Maintaining estimating databases and pricing tools</li>\n<li>Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project management teams</li>\n<li>Supporting process improvements within the pre-construction department</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Attributes</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li>\n<li>Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Experience with estimating and take-off software (Bluebeam is a plus)</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n<li>Strong Excel and financial modeling/template skills</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar construction/pre-construction role</li>\n<li>Experience estimating curtainwall, railing systems, architectural metals, or related scopes is a strong plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education &amp; Certifications (Preferred)</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, or related field</li>\n<li>Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Success in This Role</span></p>\n<p>Successful candidates will demonstrate:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurate and timely project estimates</li>\n<li>Strong vendor and subcontractor coordination</li>\n<li>Thorough scope development and specification review</li>\n<li>High-quality bid documentation and analysis</li>\n<li>Strong collaboration across departments and project teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>This role primarily operates in a professional office environment, with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and active construction sites.</p>\n<p>This role may require occasional travel to local and national job sites.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p>This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
