This is a fantastic opportunity to Teach children at an early age and assist them with their development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Teacher, this position is Full-time, hourly, Non-exempt with access to our Benefit offerings upon completion of the probationary period.  </p>\n<p>Our unique benefits include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employee Discounted Day Care</li>\n <li>Health Insurance-Medical, Vision & Dental(Orthodontics included)</li>\n <li>Paid Holiday's & Holiday Pay</li>\n <li>Benefit Time:  Vacation, Sick, Personal Days</li>\n <li>Short Term & Long Term Disability</li>\n <li>403B & Pension Plan, after one year of service</li>\n <li>Tuition Remittance Program & Paid Training</li>\n <li>Loan Forgiveness Program</li>\n <li>On-Site Paid Parking</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Overview of job responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan and implement with room staff team a curriculum that will address both individual children’s and group needs appropriately utilizing EHS curriculum.</li>\n <li>Provide supervision, role modeling, and support and encourage professional development of all child care staff and volunteers through team meetings, shared program planning, and day to day interactions.</li>\n <li>Flexibility and ability to work in all classroom environments for children 6 weeks to 3 years of age as needed to meet the required classroom ratio.</li>\n <li>Monitor and maintain the classroom environment including cleanliness, minor repairs, health and safety issues, inventory and request supplies and equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications require the following for the role of Teacher:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Clearance through NYS Central Registry is required.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum three years related experience required, with one year experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.</li>\n <li>Child Development Associates (CDA) Credential required.</li>\n <li>Associates’ Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Prior experience working in a day care setting.</li>\n <li>Must meet NYS/Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations requirements.</li>\n <li>Must meet health standards for OCFS licensing, be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to participate in all developmentally appropriate activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Our Day Care Environment:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Individual must be willing to work additional hours as required. </li>\n <li>Physical contact with children ages six (6) weeks to three (3) years of age.  </li>\n <li>Classroom ratios must be met at all times.
