    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p>As a Nuclear Technologist, you will prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions of the Role:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">The candidate must prepare, </span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">administer,</span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"> and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment under the direction of a physician.</span></span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">Use the specific equipment needed to produce photographic or computer images to be interpreted by the physician.</span></span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">Perform cardiac scanning to check for areas showing signs of abnormality using SPECT and PET imaging.</span></span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">The duties of a PET/ Nuclear Technologist also include conducting patient history taking and answering all relevant queries before the procedure.</span></span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">Calculate, measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received. Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and cameras.</span></span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW140086410 BCX0\">Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment. Dispose of radioactive materials following guidelines.
