    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Embark on an exciting career with BiOrigin Specialty Products! &nbsp;Join the foundation of our paper-making excellence as Summer Help at our Wiggins, MS paper mill! &nbsp;We&#39;re looking for hardworking individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. &nbsp;This role will play a key factor in ensuring that our clients receive a quality product. &nbsp;If you&#39;re up for the challenge, and ready to be a vital part of our paper-making journey, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact. &nbsp;The General Laborer role performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. &nbsp;These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area.</p><p>At BiOrigin Specialty Products, our mission is to drive innovative solutions in alignment with our strategic partners to revolutionize the paper and tissue industry to do this, we hold fast in our core values which are the fabric of our culture and the pillars off which we build our community; teamwork, employee investment, integrity, problem solving, and trust.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What we need from you</strong>:</p><p>Cleans equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away materials as assigned.</p><p>Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials, and load or unload items on machinery and manufacturing lines.</p><p>Performs any unskilled job at the plant.</p><p>Reports any issues to shift foreman or higher-level employee.</p><p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum qualifications:</strong></p><p>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.</p><p>Experience safely using hand trucks is highly preferred.</p><p>Good verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>Ability to listen, understand and follow directions.</p><p>Ability to work in a variety of roles.</p><p>Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical demands and working conditions:</strong></p><p>Must be able to perform activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. &nbsp;This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.</p><p>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.</p><p>Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.</p><p>Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises associated with the mill.</p><p><br></p><p>BiOrigin Specialty Products provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristics protected by federal, state or local laws.</p></div>\n",
