    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for full-cycle accounting duties, investment analysis, OPEX budget management, month-end close.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong> <em>(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with month-end close and financial reports</li>\n <li>Manage and assist budgets for all departments</li>\n <li>Assist managers with yearly/long-term business planning</li>\n <li>Monitor intercompany transactions and perform reconciliation as needed</li>\n <li>Handle Warranty Allowance</li>\n <li>Prepare quarterly inventory valuation</li>\n <li>Assist external auditors with quarterly and annual audits by providing requested information</li>\n <li>Product Life Cycle profitability management for new models</li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance</li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours</li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required</li>\n <li>All other job duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications </u></strong><em>(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)</li>\n <li>At least 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP</li>\n <li>Ability to organize and to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li>\n <li>Ability to research, evaluate, and resolve problems</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manufacturing costing experience</li>\n <li>SAP experience</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>100% of work in office environment</li>\n <li>Overtime as needed for monthly closing</li>\n</ul>",
