GENERAL DESCRIPTION Performs highly advanced (senior-level) Full Stack Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications using Microsoft and cloud technologies. Works across front-end and back-end systems, supports application modernization, and collaborates with teams to deliver scalable solutions. Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, and cloud deployments. Work involves overseeing programming projects in a lead capacity; analyzing proposed applications; and designing software solutions. Develops, designs and implements software applications for a variety of multifaceted projects requiring proficiency with Microsoft tools/technologies, and their integration into application solutions and the modernization of agency legacy systems to cloud computing environments. Plans and collaborates programming assignments with and provides technical assistance to other programmers and Information Technology team members and staff throughout the agency. May supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. May be required to work more than 40 hours per workweek. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core 8, and modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Build and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient communication between front-end and back-end systems, and deliver responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Work with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization using T- SQL, as well as experience with SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS. Support modernization efforts by converting legacy applications (e.g., classic ASP, VB.NET, client- server systems) into scalable, web-based solutions using modern .NET technologies. Deploy and maintain applications in IIS across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments (e.g., Azure VMs), including configuration of application pools, certificates, and secure endpoints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high- quality software. Provide technical support and guidance to team members when needed. Utilize Git-based version control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket) for source control, collaboration, and code management.
