    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<br>\n • Installs, lays out, and repairs instrument and control equipment as necessary<br>\n • Performs daily equipment checks on all machines and tools used in his/her maintenance activities. Corrects or reports any deficiencies found<br>\n • Maintains E&amp;I equipment files ensuring that they are kept up to date with new or modified installations<br>\n • Coordinates his/her daily maintenance activities. Prioritizes work and pulls together all necessary resources to complete assigned tasks<br>\n • Assists other crafts with job tasks outside of his/her core assignment when necessary<br>\n • Communicates effectively and works with technical and operational personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems and bring tasks to successful completion safely and efficiently<br>\n • Performs periodic maintenance on equipment per established PM Procedures<br>\n • Works under the guidance of a master technician striving to complete all requirements to be advanced to Tech 2 status<br>\n • Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition<br>\n • Reports problems related to work immediately to supervisor<br>\n • Follows all of HRC’s Code of Conduct Policies<br>\n • Will be expected to take and pass the Tech 2 Test within two years of beginning assignment</p>\n<p><br>\n Education and/or Experience<br>\n • High school diploma or equivalent<br>\n • Two (2) year technical degree desirable<br>\n • Five (5) years’ experience in E&amp;I equipment and shop activities<br>\n • Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools<br>\n • Knowledge of and working experience in personal computer use and applications</p>\n<p><br>\n Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations<br>\n • Must have a valid driver license.</p>\n<p><br>\n Language Skills<br>\n • Ability to effectively communicate with technicians, supervisors, managers, etc. as needed</p>\n<p><br>\n Mathematical Skills<br>\n • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry as they pertain to maintenance activities</p>\n<p><br>\n Reasoning Ability<br>\n • Ability to analyze situations and determine the most efficient and practical solution to the problem specified<br>\n • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p>\n<p><strong>#LI-HuntRefining</strong> : Hunt Refining Company</p>",
