This role is for an on-going assignment. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI-VB1</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Remove water from parts washer and clean unit, then fill washer back with water. </p>\n<p>• Check soap concentration levels.</p>\n<p>• Add coolants and lubricants to machines as required.</p>\n<p>• Perform chip grinding and removal of chips from production area as required.</p>\n<p>• Support other maintenance employees as directed.</p>\n<p>• Perform daily audits as required.</p>\n<p>• Painting and touchup as directed.</p>\n<p>• Cleaning facility as directed.</p>\n<p>• Replace bulbs in lights as needed.</p>\n<p>• Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.• Analyze and resolve work problems.• Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.• As required, perform safety inspections of work area, equipment and tools in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.• Knowledge of safety standards and precautions for plant maintenance and repair work.• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.• Observe SIC/Client Safety processes and procedures at all times.• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.• Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least two years experience related to general production maintenance. Supports site maintenance activities through the safe performance of a wide range of manual and skilled labor tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, freezers, and warehouses, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property and buildings</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely access all areas of property and buildings</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment</li>\n <li>Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools</li>\n <li>Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working on ladders, and in awkward body positions</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
