Assists with mailings as needed (i.e. merges and prints letters, stuffs and addresses envelopes, generates labels, etc.)<br>•    Assist with the preparation of spreadsheets and workbooks for projects requiring mail merge; Help create and distribute tax letters and other important donor information. <br><strong>Data Analysis & Reporting:</strong><br>•    Updates the monthly dashboards and extracts data from the CRM donor database system for tracking revenue, goals, and metrics.<br>•    Support Campaign data tracking and dashboard creation <br>•    Analyze Major Donor data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for fundraising growth and improved donor engagement.<br>•    Generate regular and ad hoc reports for development and fundraising teams, including metrics on donor retention, acquisition, giving trends, and ongoing monthly and quarterly performance reports.<br>•    Segment donor lists for targeted digital communications, appeals, and stewardship efforts.<br>•    Showcase SQL proficiency to perform data extractions, identify audience segments, and audit donor data integrity within the database<br>•    Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Google Looker Studio or similar platform) to translate raw technical data into actionable visual insights for non-technical stakeholders to support executive decision-making<br><strong>Fundraising Support:</strong><br>•    Provide data-driven insights to inform fundraising strategies, planning, and donor cultivation.<br>•    Collaborate with development officers to analyze the performance of portfolios and fundraising initiatives.<br><strong>Systems Optimization:</strong><br>•    Support acquisition, implementation, and modification of new analytics tools. <br>•    Troubleshoot database issues and collaborate on system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.<br>•    Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to database management and fundraising analytics.<br><strong>Collaboration & Training:</strong><br>•    Collaborate with the fundraising team to understand their data needs and provide appropriate tools and resources.<br>•    Support Major Gift officers, Planned Giving team, Grants, and Foundations team to ensure they adequately use the database and are comfortable with donor data entry and reporting functions.<br>•    Work closely with the Finance team to reconcile donations and ensure financial data accuracy.<br>•    Track grant deliverables in collaboration with the Foundations and Grants team. <br>•    Create presentations for leadership and KQED Board, including PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, and data visualizations.<br><strong>Compliance & Security:</strong><br>•    Ensure all Major donor data complies with data protection regulations and organizational policies.<br>•    Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive donor information.<br>•    Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.<br><br>Qualifications:<br> Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, computer science,<br>information systems, or any related field.<br> 4 to 5 years of experience working with donor databases in a nonprofit setting<br>(experience with ROI database, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or other CRM tools is<br>preferred).<br> Strong analytical skills with experience in data management, reporting, and trend<br>analysis.<br> Skilled in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, pivot tables, and VLookups.<br> Understanding of fundraising and donor stewardship processes.<br> Knowledge and understanding of SQL or other programming languages.<br> Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br> Experience with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and nonprofit compliance<br>requirements<br><br><span style=\"font-variant:normal;white-space:pre-wrap;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight:700;\"><span style=\"font-style:normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none;\">#LI-hybrid</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br> ",
