    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to support the development and deployment of scalable, cloud-based software solutions in a mission-focused environment for an Intelligence Customer. The Software Engineer will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining reliable applications and infrastructure using modern programming languages and cloud technologies.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Go and Python.</li>\n <li>Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform in AWS environments.</li>\n <li>Build and support cloud-native services and integrations leveraging AWS tooling.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Support deployment, integration, and sustainment of software in production environments.</li>\n <li>Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical troubleshooting activities.</li>\n <li>Contribute to software documentation and development best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Required experience developing software with Go and Python.</li>\n <li>Required experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation.</li>\n <li>Required experience working with AWS services and tooling.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting cloud-native or distributed systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, mission-oriented environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $210,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
