We seek employees who bring different and innovative ways of seeing the world and solving problems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Works with the clinic nurse manager to assure the provision of high-quality, evidence-based patient and family-centered care by supervising nursing staff and supporting nursing practice.  Supports day-to-day nursing operations and quality assurance for the clinic population.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full time exempt position located at our South Lake Union location.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Hiring, training, supporting, disciplining and evaluating nursing staff.</li>\n <li>Assist in P&P, SOP, and patient education development.</li>\n <li>Assist in goal setting for the clinical service in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and work towards achieving goals.</li>\n <li>Lead efforts towards Continuous Process Improvement for the clinical service</li>\n <li>Assist in assuring regulatory compliance with applicable standards.</li>\n <li>Further the practice of nursing within the clinical service by using current evidence to support change through committee and project work</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Nursing degree, either ADN or BSN</li>\n <li>Must have current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or current NLC multistate license (MSL); and MSL with Primary State of Residence to WA is required within 60 days of hire. This requirement may be waived under specific circumstances, subject to approval.</li>\n <li>Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course, such as by the American Red Cross) and renewal required every two years.</li>\n <li>Additional certification may be required depending upon department.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years as a RN depending on the clinical specialty and 1 year of previous leadership experience. Outpatient experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proven project management skills and committee experience</li>\n <li>Proficiency in basic computer skills (EMR, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure related to work/time deadlines</li>\n <li>Ability to provide feedback about staff performance to staff</li>\n <li>Strong teaching ability</li>\n <li>Ability to lead committees</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSN or Master's degree in nursing or related field</li>\n <li>Active nursing specialty certification with a Fred Hutch-recognized certification</li>\n <li><p>OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or BMT RN</p></li>\n <li><p>ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card </p></li>\n <li><p>ACLS and/or PALS  </p></li>\n <li><p>2 years of previous RN Oncology experience </p></li>\n <li><p>CITI Training – Good Clinical Practice and Human Subjects Research </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>The annual base salary range for this position is from $126,984.00 to $200,678.00, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.  Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full time exempt position located at our South Lake Union location. </p>\n<p>Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
