          "text": "<p>The Production Management Consultant will identify and implement solutions to optimize operating efficiency of production systems and processes. Manage and execute scheduled events in the production environment such as disaster recovery testing, platform upgrades, Audit/compliance/regulatory requests, system enhancements and fixes. </p><p><b>Functional Responsibilities:</b></p><p>•\tResponsible for identifying and implementing operating efficiency solutions for specific domains. </p><p>•\tResponsible for day-to-day production management activities including the investigation and resolution of incidents, problems, service requests and working assigned queues - works independently. </p><p><span>•\tPerforms break-fix coding and/or scripting and maintains records to document break-fix code changes. </span><br /></p><p>•\tCommunicates incidents, problems and escalations to internal and external partners. </p><p>•\tMay manage work queues for appropriate action. </p><p>•\tGathers and analyzes metrics around performance and cost. </p><p>•\tDocuments internal processes and procedures. </p><p>•\tEnsures all nightly production batch trails are completed on time based on Service Level Agreements commitments. </p><p>•\tResponsible for prioritization of problems, incidents and service requests, leveraging their business understanding. </p><p>•\tResponsible for change management, release management and Audit/compliance/regulatory activities. </p><p>•\tLeverage extensive technical and/or business knowledge of multiple areas (technical, business, applications, etc.) in support of production management activities. </p><p>•\tAdvises Applications Development teams on how to build and enhance applications to maximize operational efficiency and ensure application stability. </p><p>•\tActs as an acknowledged resource for less experienced staff and to assist colleagues on other teams. </p><p>•\tInteracts with vendor consultants to identify and implement solutions for optimizing operating efficiency of production systems and processes.</p><p>•\tProvide discretionary project assistance which may entail analysis, design, coding and development, end to end testing, deployment and post deployment support.</p><p>•\tFacilitate meetings and work with other IT, vendor and business partners during a Problem Investigation and Root Cause analysis. </p><p>•\tPerforms related duties as assigned or requested.</p><p>Supervisory Responsibilities:  None.
