    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></p>\n<p>Join our growing Systems Development team and play a hands-on role in building the internal platforms that keep our business moving.This is a chance to take real ownership—partnering directly with stakeholders, translating business problems into well-designed technical solutions, and delivering improvements that are visible, meaningful, and widely adopted across the organisation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a Full Stack Software Engineer in our Systems Development team, you’ll help enhance and maintain our industry-leading, in-house applications that support key internal departments including Sales, Operations, P&amp;C, and Finance. You’ll contribute across the full software lifecycle—developing new functionality, improving existing systems, and ensuring stable ongoing performance. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll act as a liaison between business units and technology to understand needs, shape requirements, and deliver practical solutions that improve day-to-day operations.</p>\n<p>This is a rare chance to lead from the front and help shape one of the most critical—and fastest-growing—parts of Jord’s business.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development, enhancement and maintenance of Jord custom internal systems.</li>\n<li>Participate in full system development life cycle activities</li>\n<li>Develop React front-end applications, UI components and reusable front-end libraries in line with business requirements and application standards.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain data-driven web applications, back-end services, REST APIs and integrations using C#, .NET Core and .NET Framework.</li>\n<li>Design, develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, data models and queries; support NoSQL solutions where required.</li>\n<li>Create technical specifications, operational documentation, and functional and technical designs of internal systems.</li>\n<li>Analyse existing programs and codebases to identify areas for modification, refactoring, performance improvement and maintainability.</li>\n<li>Integrate custom built systems with SaaS solutions primarily using Microsoft Graph.</li>\n<li>Deliver clean, secure, tested and maintainable code in adherence to Jord coding standards and agreed timelines</li>\n<li>Work effectively in an agile development environment using Git and JIRA, collaborating with the local team and the full international team.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary or related qualifications with a background in a suitable discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of practical experience developing data-driven web applications across front-end and back-end technologies with C# .NET Core and full understanding of object-oriented programming.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on React experience, with strong knowledge of React, Redux and related concepts.</li>\n<li>Highly capable in API development, including RESTful APIs and integration between client-side and server-side applications.</li>\n<li>Highly capable in PostgreSQL database design and development; experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases preferred.</li>\n<li>UX and UI understanding, including responsive design, usability and front-end best practices</li>\n<li>Proven experience in object-oriented design and MVC design patterns</li>\n<li>Experience with Git, JIRA, agile delivery, testing practices, code reviews, documentation and source code management.</li>\n<li>Experience with integrations using Microsoft Graph is preferred.</li>\n<li>Experience with TypeScript is preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability and commitment to work in accordance with the overall project program and meet agreed timeframes.</li>\n<li>Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally at all levels across multiple departments.</li>\n<li>Fast-learning, proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities; reliable, self-motivated and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team, with strong teamwork skills and a can-do attitude.</li>\n<li>Passion for continuous learning and developing quality enterprise-grade systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why join Jord?</span></p>\n<p>At Jord, you’ll be part of a global engineering company known for designing and delivering complex industrial solutions for the energy and resources industries</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be part of a business supporting the global energy transition</li>\n<li>Lead and grow a high impact business unit</li>\n<li>Work with a highly experienced engineering and operations team</li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape systems, structure and strategy during a period of significant growth</li>\n<li>Collaborative culture that values innovation, rigour and continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How to Apply</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your resume and cover letter via the ‘Apply for this job’ button below</li>\n<li>For more information, visit our website at www.jord.com.au</li>\n<li>Recruitment Agency applications will not be accepted</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
