This position combines direct patient care with basic diagnostic imaging responsibilities to support efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced express care clinic setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working alongside providers, the Clinical Care Attendant performs patient intake, clinical procedures, point-of-care testing, and diagnostic imaging. This role ensures smooth coordination of care, from check-in to discharge, while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient comfort.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Greet, register, and room patients; collect vital signs and patient history.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform point-of-care testing and assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Perform diagnostic imaging</strong> within the scope of licensure (Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist).</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure proper imaging documentation, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide patient education, review after-visit instructions, and conduct follow-up communications as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain clean and stocked exam and imaging rooms; manage medical and radiologic supplies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and support staff.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adhere to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and radiologic safety requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operation of the clinic.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Current licensure/certification as one of the following</strong>: CMA, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic.</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>CMA must have certification through NHA, AAMA, NCCT or AMT (RMA) + have graduated from an accredited CMA program</li>\n   <li>Other licenses must be in good standing to practice in Iowa</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist.</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>BLS certification.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.</p></li>\n <li>Experience with EPIC a plus but not required</li>\n <li>Clinical experience desired</li>\n <li>For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing</li>\n</ul>",
