This position ensures regulatory compliance, public health safety, and uninterrupted utility services by operating and maintaining water and sewer lines, lift stations, and related infrastructure.</strong><br></p><h3><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Install, inspect, maintain, and repair water and wastewater lines, meters, valves, manholes, fire hydrants, and lift stations.</strong></li><li><strong>Locate and mark underground utilities in compliance with Texas 811/Dig-Tess requirements.</strong></li><li><strong>Monitor system pressures, flows, and conditions using SCADA and physical inspections.</strong></li><li><strong>Respond to service calls, leaks, main breaks, backups, and other utility-related emergencies.</strong></li><li><strong>Perform water quality testing and sampling in accordance with TCEQ regulations.</strong></li><li><strong>Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical components.</strong></li><li><strong>Complete work orders, daily logs, inspection reports, and asset management records.</strong></li><li><strong>Flush water mains and perform valve and hydrant maintenance.</strong></li><li><strong>Assist with utility locates, tap installations, and meter reading as needed.</strong></li><li><strong>Operate light to heavy equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, and jetting equipment.</strong></li><li><strong>Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including confined space entry and traffic control.</strong></li><li><strong>Regular and timely attendance.</strong></li><li><strong>Performs other duties as required.</strong></li></ul>",
