    "requisitionDescription": "<h2 id=\"isPasted\">Job Overview</h2><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The Withdrawal Management Unit (Detox) at HealthRIGHT 360&#39;s Dual Diagnosis treatment facility at 815 Buena Vista (815) is a co-ed unit with 45 beds that provides clients with social model detoxification support for co-occurring behavioral health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Clients are supported by a team of licensed nurses, SUD counselors, and behavioral health professionals who provide medication management support, counseling, and education. The Withdrawal Management Nurse Manager acts, in tandem with the Medical Director, as the lead in supporting our clients with Medication Assisted Therapies (MAT) as part of their evidence-based treatment plans. Our goal is that our clients transition into their recovery journey with stable physical health to build upon.</p><p>The Withdrawal Management (WM) Nurse Manager oversees the operations and clinical monitoring for Withdrawal Management clients and leads a team including but not limited to licensed nurses and/or medical assistants and SUD counselors.</p><p>In collaboration with the Addiction Medicine team, the Nurse Manager supports the provision and education of, and adherence to, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) where appropriate.</p><p>The Nurse Manager oversees Drug Medi-Cal documentation compliance, such as documenting medical necessity of WM services; the ongoing training of WM staff, including quarterly skills-checks; and oversees medication storage, disposal, and control in the milieu.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Leadership Responsibilities: Comfortable in changing systems and champions change. Participates in matters related to performance and quality improvement and creates and ensures adherence to protocols.</p><p>Organizational Responsibilities: In conjunction with Program Director, assures organizational readiness for accreditation surveys and ongoing monitoring and reporting of conformance to quality. Supports the interpretation of best practice standards to implement into daily processes. Coordinates and consults with the appropriate department heads within the agency to facilitate integration between programs.</p><p>Nursing Responsibilities: Monitors patient medication use and helps to mitigate risk to patient by flagging high dose medications and potential medication interactions to the Director of Addiction Medicine. Triages and provides complex care coordination for all clients accessing healthcare services internal and external to HealthRIGHT.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2>Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Education and Experience Required:</p><ul><li>Nurse currently licensed in the State of California with a degree from an accredited college or university.</li><li>Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing care.</li><li>Personal philosophies congruent with Trauma Informed Care &amp; Harm Reduction modalities.</li><li>Experience as a supervisor.</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).</li></ul><p>Desired:</p><ul><li>Bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Mandarin &amp; Cantonese.</li><li>Experience working with LGBTQIA+, unhoused, criminal justice, and/or marginalized populations.</li><li>Experience with management of clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Peers with lived experience and those bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Mandarin &amp; Cantonese encouraged to apply.</p><p>We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</p><p>In compliance with the California Department of Public Health&#39;s mandate, all employees must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
