    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity Where Community Spirit Meets Scenic Splendor!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>BC Pediatric Hospitalist </strong>to join our team of 2.5 full-time pediatric hospitalists and 2.5 pediatric intensivists at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, a highly regarded and renowned, community hospital setting in southeast Idaho. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a regional medical center which draws patients from throughout <strong>Idaho, Western Wyoming, and Southern Montana</strong>.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve a diverse patient population spanning across multiple states and regions within a <strong>10-bed pediatric unit</strong></li>\n <li>Care for medical patients on the<strong> pediatric unit</strong>, consulting on pediatric patients in the <strong>emergency department</strong>, consulting on<strong> surgical patients,</strong> and caring for <strong>newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care </strong></li>\n <li>Top 100 Hospital in US named by Premier, Inc.</li>\n <li>Only hospital in Idaho designated as \"Expert\" for Pediatric Care Readiness (Idaho Emergency Medical Services for Children, 2024)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Established Support Network</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pediatric physician staff include both pediatric intensivists and neonatologists as part of the Pediatrix team </li>\n <li>Additional pediatric sub-specialists representing pediatric neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, surgery, and anesthesia. </li>\n <li>Child life specialist, pediatric nutritionists, and physical therapists </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information about EIRMC</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>318-bed hospital</li>\n <li>Level II Trauma center</li>\n <li>Regional Burn Center</li>\n <li>6-Bed Pediatric PICU</li>\n <li>26-bed Level III Neonatal ICU</li>\n <li>1200 deliveries per year</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Opportunities for Advancement & Research</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>EIRMC has an active family medicine residency with residents rotating through the inpatient pediatric and newborn care services.  </li>\n <li>Opportunity for faculty appointment with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine</li>\n <li>Pediatrix is established as one of the largest pediatric medical groups, with affiliations in research and advanced data</li>\n <li> There are growth opportunities for the pediatric hospitalist within the areas of quality and process improvement projects, and clinical research of a unique patient population. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the Area</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Idaho Falls</strong> is a vibrant city in eastern Idaho nestled along the Snake River and at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
