    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Northwest Mississippi Community College seeks a full-time 10-month lead instructor to teach the Construction Management Technology program on the Senatobia Campus by providing modern instruction, a professional environment, and a solid reputation in our communities for quality instruction and highly qualified and desired graduates for employment.</p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in construction management or a related field within the past five (5) years&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience in:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Job site management&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Construction safety&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Construction materials&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Cost estimation and planning&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Willingness to obtain required certification(s)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated professional demeanor&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Positive contributions to a team environment&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Commitment to continuous improvement&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Associate of Applied Science in Construction Management Technology or a closely related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management or a related field&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Five (5) or more years of successful experience in construction management&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):</strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Ensure all program requirements and partner expectations are consistently met&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain a professional demeanor with students, colleagues, and community members&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Deliver high-quality classroom and lab instruction using modern construction management practices and varied teaching methods &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare lesson plans, job sheets, and laboratory demonstrations for all instructional units&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Recommend curriculum updates to ensure program relevance and industry alignment&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor student progress, including internship participation&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with faculty and support staff&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Continuously improve teaching methods and technical skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and regulatory requirements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Teach course content aligned with syllabus, catalog standards, and workforce expectations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop, administer, and grade assessments; provide timely feedback to students&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support outcomes assessment and maintain high standards of student satisfaction and retention&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate attendance and academic records in accordance with College policy&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Submit required reports to the College, the Mississippi Community College Board, and other partners&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and required College events&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support student engagement through extracurricular and community-related activities&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supervise laboratory experiences and maintain a safe, clean learning environment&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage inventory of program equipment, tools, and instructional materials&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain and engage an active advisory committee (minimum twice annually)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Build and maintain relationships with industry partners; conduct site visits and monitor internships&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Advice and counsel students on academic and career pathways&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist students with job placement in construction-related fields&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Serve on faculty committees and support institutional initiatives&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Contribute to the overall mission of the College through additional assigned duties&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in required training and professional development activities</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to take initiative to solve problems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience using technology including email, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and Internet use.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully and courteously with students, faculty, staff, and the general public.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a team.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be a “quick study” to quickly grasp and retain knowledge of policies and procedures relating to every aspect of student services that a prospective or current student may utilize.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrate oral and written communication skills to interact with a wide range of diverse individuals.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Flexible schedule is required to meet department needs, as some evenings, weekends, and extended hours may be required.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the Instructor is regularly required to do the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stand for long periods&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Talk, hear, view,&nbsp;and assist students&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Communicate with others in person, telephone, zoom, &amp;
