At Cohere Beauty, we&rsquo;re here for what&rsquo;s next.</strong> &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;</p><p>The Compounding Supervisor directs the work of the staff to receive chemicals and formulate batches of products timely, efficiently, and within the quality, regulatory, and company standards and expectations. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>This is what you will do:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Maintain GMP and FDA Standards on all shifts.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a safe working environment for employees.&nbsp;</li><li>Assign work to employees for each shift, including assistant supervisors or leads.&nbsp;</li><li>Keep equipment in good, clean working order and ensure employees do so as well.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure proper communication of equipment repair and preventive maintenance needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure employees are suitably trained to use the equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage an effective, productive team.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure proper personnel staffing to meet projected needs to support continued improvement efforts.&nbsp;</li><li>Drive processes to reduce errors/gallon below the established trend line and drive toward continuous improvement. &nbsp;</li><li>Comply with supplied schedules from the Planning Department.&nbsp;</li><li>Comply with and work with staff to ensure regulatory and company standards and procedures compliance.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate company policies and procedures to employees and enforce them.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage and mentor the team, ensuring the development of the required skill sets. &nbsp;</li><li>Facilitate meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate staff performance and competencies including doing performance assessments.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate information and projects up and down the chain of command.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships.&nbsp;</li><li>Make recommendations on employment decisions (e.g., hiring, disciplinary action, termination).&nbsp;</li><li>Implement, interpret, and affect policies, operating practices, and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot and assist with problem-solving.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate independent judgment and make recommendations regarding business practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with others.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform work onsite.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>This is what you will need:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.&nbsp;</li><li>Post-secondary education in physical science or equivalent experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven leadership skills&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Strong Math aptitude &nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English competently&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.&nbsp;</li><li>RF gun experience (preferred).</li><li>Background in Lean Manufacturing<strong>&nbsp;</strong>(preferred).</li><li>Proven knowledge of inventory control principles&nbsp;(preferred).</li><li>Experience with metrics tracking, implementation, and presentation (preferred).&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>We enthusiastically welcome your application, as we recognize the invaluable perspective, experience, and potential you possess.
