    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Ensure that all residents are served foods and beverages of their choice in a professional manner and to make sure the kitchen remains clean at all times so that a high level of sanitation can be maintained.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Make all beverages (i.e., coffee, tea, juices).</li>\n<li>Serve residents their food in a courteous and timely manner.</li>\n<li>Make sure tables have proper set-up items (i.e., butter, jelly, sugar, sweet-n-low, etc.).</li>\n<li>Help portion out desserts.</li>\n<li>Make sure linens are picked up by laundry after each meal, cleaned and returned for the next meal.</li>\n<li>Make sure table set-up is completed in a timely manner after each meal.</li>\n<li>Sweep and mop dining room after each meal.</li>\n<li>Wash dishes.</li>\n<li>Empty garbage daily as needed, at least once a day.</li>\n<li>Assist with stocking of pantry when groceries arrive.</li>\n<li>Keep stock room straightened and clean.</li>\n<li>Sweep and mop stockrooms regularly.</li>\n<li>Keep refrigerators neat, cleaned and wiped down daily.</li>\n<li>Make sure bins, drains under sinks, and tea and coffee service table are kept clean.</li>\n<li>Wash floor mats and trash cans on Saturday.</li>\n<li>Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.</li>\n<li>Be familiar with the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights and assist residents with exercising these rights.</li>\n<li>Assure careful treatment of Adult Care Home Equipment and utilization of supplies.</li>\n<li>Be responsible for reading and adhering to all Adult Care Home and employee policies.</li>\n<li>Participate in job-related continuing education as required by ED/Administrator.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required by circumstances.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions</li>\n<li>Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program</li>\n<li>Must have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain them during period of employment</li>\n<li>Must be at least 16 years old</li>\n<li>Must be able to Lift, Push, or Pull minimum of 50 pounds.</li>\n<li>Must obtain a two-step tuberculin skin test (first step prior to hire and second step within two weeks of first test)</li>\n<li>Must wear slip resistant shoes while working in dietary at all times.</li>\n<p> </p>",
