Explore opportunities with us and help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Group: Construction Solutions </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position: Resident Project Representative/Project Engineer/Project Manager  </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect construction work on transportation and utility infrastructure projects to document conformity to construction standards and specifications</li>\n <li>Complete and maintain records of field observations, including daily reports outlining the work performed, as well as field measurements and computations for the quantity of completed work eligible for payment</li>\n <li>Perform material sampling and testing on applicable materials such as soil sampling, compaction tests, concrete tests, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform project administration duties such as preparing monthly pay applications and change orders for presentation to client</li>\n <li>Assist other project management staff with identifying problems and developing viable solutions for consideration</li>\n <li>Management/leadership of other construction supervisors and inspection staff on multiple projects</li>\n <li>Review construction documents for constructability issues and provide feedback to owner/designer</li>\n <li>Respond and facilitate responses to RFI’s from contractors</li>\n <li>Serve as a representative of the firm at all required meetings, leading client coordination throughout the construction progress. Prepare meeting minutes including discussion topics, major decisions, action items, and information needs</li>\n <li>Willing to work in extreme temperatures as some work assignments are outdoors. Applicant must have the ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, standing and walking for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of construction inspection experience, preferably for transportation, water, and/or utility infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge or ability to gain working knowledge of quality requirements for construction materials</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and standards</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal communications skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n <li>Previous INDOT, KYTC, or local agency construction inspection experience is highly preferred</li>\n <li>INDOT Certified Technician, Qualified Technician, and SiteManager Certification are preferred</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
