Responsible for the sale and distribution of investment and insurance products and services. Responsible for assisting in developing, implementing and achieving the bank’s wealth management business plan.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>To provide and exceptional service experience, every time!</li><li>Must have excellent communication verbal written and telephone skills.</li><li>Accepts and conforms to the terms of the employment agreement(s) executed between the employee and the bank including a mutual employment agreement executed between the employee, the bank, and the securities brokerage services and insurance services companies.</li><li>Identifies and solicits business from potential clients through advertising campaigns, mailing lists, referrals and personal contacts.</li><li>Meet with clients to determine financial and insurance needs, complete formal financial plans as appropriate, recommend investment/insurance strategies and presents appropriate investment/insurance options.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining on-going knowledge of current market conditions, new products, services and tax law changes within the financial services industry.</li><li>Maintains a full working knowledge of various software packages to produce financial planning information for clients.</li><li>Schedules and conducts customer seminars such as financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning and education planning.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that the office, marketing materials, client files, seminar materials and new accounts are compliant with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements and guidelines.</li><li>Ensures adherence to all policies, procedures and requirements of OSAIC Institutions, Inc. and First Scotia Wealth Management in the conduct of assigned responsibilities.</li><li>Conducts the training of Bank personnel to enhance the success of the Bank’s investment referral process.</li><li>Works with senior management to develop, implement and achieve/exceed goals as set forth in the bank’s annual business plan.</li><li>Represents the bank by participating in community affairs, clubs and organizations to assess the needs of the community, &nbsp;enhance the bank’s visibility and increase new business opportunities.</li><li>Track record of successful sales/service performance in the investment services business.</li><li>Other duties as assigned: Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice, deemed necessary by Management.</li></ul>",
