    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Estimator/Project Manager</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LOCATION:  Tuscaloosa- must be open to extensive travel.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span></p>\n<p>Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of estimates for project bids and proposals, as well as the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of the construction project.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the estimating team bidding the project to build the estimate, then price assigned items in Estimating Software</li>\n<li>Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of the estimate.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain the project schedule to meet the essential milestones and critical path.</li>\n<li>Establish vendors and subcontractors.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain a thorough execution plan with site supervision.</li>\n<li>Overall responsibility for safety, quality, and budget for projects ranging in size.</li>\n<li>Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operation priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships.</li>\n<li>Establish/Define/Promote values, expectations, and performance standards for team and individual members in accordance with mission, vision, and values.</li>\n<li>Responsible for the overall management of the project (e.g., resources, schedule) to ensure complete solution is delivered on time and within budget.</li>\n<li>Manage cost and program documentation.</li>\n<li>Effectively oversee subcontract management</li>\n<li>Coach and develop staff.</li>\n<li>Implement and monitor Safety and Hazard communication programs.</li>\n<li>Monitor Quality Control and hold supervisors accountable for their products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Required Plan Take-off and Estimating Software experience.</li>\n<li>Must have Sitework, Roadway, or Utility experience.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of project experience in Sitework, Roadway, or Utilities</li>\n<li>Must have excellent team building skills.</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word</li>\n<li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Construction Management or Field Supervisory experience: 3-5 years</li>\n</ul>",
