    "description_html": "<p>The Logistic Analyst provides accurate, timely and useful information to Management, ensures accurate accounting for logistics related expenses, and works for continuous improvement for all Logistics activity.</p><p><strong>General Responsibilities: </strong>Planning, Forecasting, Optimization, Invoice Approvals and Processing</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>Continuous Improvements</strong></p><ul><li>Review and analysis of all logistics routes for optimization and cost reduction.</li><li>Identifies process inefficiency for MNA’s internal activity and works to implement improvements.</li><li>Develops and assists with logistics related system improvements in SAP and other areas as needed.</li><li>Reviews development plans to determine potential transportation cost impact.</li></ul><p><strong>IBT/OBT Logistic Payment Processing (MNA-MI Plant</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Gathering IBT/OBT logistics result data from SAP/GTMS (Weekly, Monthly, As Needed)</li><li>Verification of all 3PL and logistics invoicing for accuracy.</li><li>Gathering MI plant non-SAP freight invoices for additional/extra shipment invoice processing.</li><li>Prepares payment reports and monthly closing reports.</li><li>Invoice payment: Processing of all logistics invoices / expenses.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration and Support Function</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead weekly optimization meeting with the materials planning team to review weekly utilization and plans for the upcoming week.</li><li>Collaboration with 3PL’s, other logistics providers, and carriers for route planning and optimization.</li><li>Support with all HQ requests for reporting as needed.</li><li>Provide support and coverage of daily tasks for the Toledo Plant as needed for absences.</li></ul><p><strong>Performs all other assigned duties and/or special assignments as delegated.</strong></p>",
